Evaluation of the Durability of a New Water-Based Membrane Containing Copper Chloride

چکیده
The durability of a new water-based membrane containing copper chloride, used to remove the toxic hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas, was evaluated. pouring method fabricate membrane. contained resin (15% polyamide), aluminum silicate, technosol, CuCl2.2H2O, distilled water and ethyl alcohol as solvent. resistance against 1 M HCl, NH3, 30% H2O2, HNO3, NaOH, sunlight, pure investigated. changes in surface morphology treated under these conditions for over two weeks were examined using scanning electron microscope (SEM) digital microscope. Energy Distribution Spectroscopy (SEM-EDS) analysis performed confirm gas capture ability surface. structural by X-ray diffractometry (XRD) analysis. Based on results, chemicals affecting identified. results also showed that characterized certain adsorption capacity, this might be an eco-friendly alternative currently materials.
